Terry Lee Ryder, 57, a lifelong resident of Amberson, PA, passed away in his home on January 15, 2025.

Born July 12, 1967, in Chambersburg, he was a son of Debra Lee (Swartz) LeBeau of Orrstown and the late Terry Conrad Ryder.

Terry graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 1985 and was employed as an automotive mechanic in Shippensburg for many years.

Being outdoors brought him much enjoyment and he especially loved hunting and fishing.

Surviving with his mother, are 3 children: Jason N. Ryder and his wife, Maggie and Chelsea Ryder, all of Chambersburg, and Fawne Ryder, Upper Strasburg and 2 grandchildren, Luke and Brooke.  Also surviving are 2 brothers, Mark Ryder and wife, Shelly and Roy Ryder and wife, Barbie and a sister, Diane Forbes and husband, Randy, all of Amberson.  He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rod LeBeau.

The family will receive friends the evening of January 23rd between 6 and 7 PM followed by a memorial service and time of sharing at 7 PM in the Amberson United Methodist Church, 18889 Amberson Road, Spring Run, PA.  The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests donations in memory of Terry be made payable to the church and mailed to Rita Glass, 16011 Amberson Road, Spring Run, PA 17262     www.agettlakjer.com
