Theresa "Terri" Marie Benton, 82 of Fayetteville, PA, formerly of Middletown, NY, and long-time resident of Saegertown passed away on Sunday morning December 10th, 2023, at her home while receiving Hospice care. She was with her sons and family upon her passing.

She was born April 14th, 1941, in Middletown, NY to the late Louis Joseph Bundschuh and the late Margaret Mary (Graham) Bundschuh.

Terri's vocation was as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Assistant Physical Therapist for over 25 years with the primary portion of her employment being at Meadville Medical Center.

Along with her vocation, Terri was an adept homemaker for her family. She enjoyed cooking and especially baking pies and cookies. She was a skilled quilt maker and designed and made quilts that she made for friends and family throughout the years. She enjoyed gardening and nature, was an avid dog lover, especially cocker spaniels, which she raised and groomed throughout her lifetime.

She volunteered her time in community support to the Crawford County Correctional System providing tutoring to individuals seeking their GED. She also volunteered at multiple hospitals throughout her lifetime in both Pennsylvania and Maine.

She is survived by her son, Mark Benton, (Ellen); son, Christopher Benton, (Karen); Mark's children, grandsons, Tyler Benton, Jacob Benton, and Gregory Benton; and granddaughter, Rachel Benton; Chris' children, granddaughter, Claire Benton; and grandson, Andrew Benton; and her sisters, Louise Harkinson and Judith Sorice.

She was predeceased by a son, Theodore Benton, and her husband, David Benton, whom she was married to for 62 years, prior to his passing in October of 2022. A small private ceremony was held by immediate family.
