Timothy Andrew Hockenberry, born October 2, 1963, of Saltillo ended his fight against cancer on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at his home surrounded by his wife and daughters.

To most, Tim was known as Red Dog, but his proudest titles were husband, daddy and pappy. He was joined in marriage August 20, 1983 to Lisa Kay Hockenberry (Miller), who still resides in their home. He is also survived by his three daughters, Amber Wakefield, husband Tom, Alicia Williamson, husband Matthew and Andrea Hockenberry, life partner Adam Benson.

His daughters gave him the greatest honor of being a pappy to his grandchildren, Mya, Hailey, Lainie, Matthew Jr., and Ryan, along with his grand pets, Bristol, Georgia, Maverick, Max, Ruby and Mr. Kittles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Palmer, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Jim & Joan Miller, sisters-in-law, Ruth Hockenberry and Robyn Miller and grand dog, Bentley.

Other surviving members of his family include his mother, Edith, three brothers, Michael, wife, MaryBeth, Gene, Shawn, wife, Amanda, sister-in-law, Lori Yocum, husband Drew, and brother-in-law, Damon Miller, along with nine nephews, five nieces and many friends.

Red Dog dedicated 38 years to Henkels & McCoy, where he impacted the lives of many. He loved music, hunting, fishing, NASCAR, his front porch, and simply having a good time. He is loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed. The mountains will always be blue! Cheers!
