William T. "Bill" Campbell, 84, a long- time resident of Concord, went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2022 in UPMC Community Hospital, Harrisburg.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Darlene A. (Parson) Campbell in 2017.

Born October 11, 1938, in Doylesburg, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Shearer) Campbell.  Bill was a member of the first class to graduate from Fannett-Metal High School in 1956.

Bill worked for the late Bruce B. Gamble in Concord until taking employment with Pet-Ritz in Chambersburg.  He later retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime and then drove truck for Gamble Trucking.

Bill was an active and faithful member of Concord United Methodist Church.  He was a lifetime member, former president, and board member of Fannett-Metal Fire & Ambulance Co.  Gospel music bought him much pleasure, along with spending time with family and friends.  He l was an avid Farmall – International Harvester collector.

Surviving are his children, Christine Campbell of Concord, Lou Ann Campbell of Blain and Bruce Campbell and his wife, Dianne of Newburg; 5 grandsons, Travis Benner and his wife, Whitney, Trent Benner and his wife, Holly, Trevor Benner, Tyler Campbell and Alex Campbell; 7 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Bowen in October.

Viewing Saturday, Dec. 10 between 6 and 8 PM and Sunday after 1 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run.
